FC Bayern win 6-2 at home against SC Freiburg on the 11th Bundesliga matchday. The Bayern stars in the FCBinside individual critique
Manuel Neuer: Had no chance when conceding the 0-1 goal from close range. He couldn’t do anything about the visitors‘ second goal either. Otherwise, Neuer had no further opportunities to distinguish himself. Grade: 3
Josip Stanisic: Delivered a rock-solid performance on the right side of defence. The longer the game went on, the more he got involved up front as well. Mark: 3
Dayot Upamecano: Lost the crucial header duel before Manzambi made it 2-0. Upamecano was then in the right place in the second half when he was able to slot home unchallenged from Olise’s corner to give Bayern a 3-2 lead. Upamecano also had a good game overall. Grade: 2
Jonathan Tah: Made no mistakes and played some good passes in the build-up. 3
Tom Bischof: Started the game at left-back in the first half and remained relatively inconspicuous. In the second half, Bischof moved into the center of midfield after Goretzka’s substitution, with Laimer taking over on the left. Bischof made an effort and was definitely an improvement on Goretzka. Mark: 3
Aleksandar Pavlovic: In the absence of Kimmich, Pavlovic repeatedly cranked up Bayern’s play. Pavlovic also dared to pass deep or switch sides – things that were not seen at all from his midfield partner Goretzka. Pavlovic also collected an assist in the 4-2 win. Good game! Grade: 2

Leon Goretzka: Once again failed to make any impact offensively. Goretzka played a half without risk or inspiration. A very weak game from the international. Grade: 5
Michael Olise: Set up Karl’s goal to make it 1:2 after he had finely outpaced two Freiburg players. Olise then scored himself shortly before the break to make it 2:2, but his shot could have been saved by Freiburg keeper Atubolu. The Frenchman then set up Upamecano’s 3:2 from a corner and Jackson’s 5:2. He scored the final goal to make it 6:2 himself with a wonderful flick. Two goals, three assists – that was a world-class game from Olise! Grade: 1
Lennart Karl: Scored the equaliser to make it 1:2 after good work from Olise and strong ball reception. It was the other way round for the equaliser to make it 2:2: Karl set up Olise and the Frenchman converted. The 17-year-old scored again himself, but the goal didn’t count because Stanisic was offside. Karl repeatedly created danger and caused major problems for Freiburg. With his speed and brilliant technique, the youngster is a weapon! A great performance from Karl – until he had to come off with an injury. Grade: 1
Luis Diaz: Circled just wide of the Freiburg goal on one occasion and failed to beat Atubolu with a deflected shot at the end. Didn’t get involved in many other dangerous attacking moves, but worked hard and received loud applause for a passionate defensive duel. Grade: 3
Harry Kane: Was pretty much out of the picture in the first half, but helped out diligently at the back time and again. In the second half, Kane did Kane things again: His goal to make it 4:2 finally put Bayern on the road to victory. Grade: 2

Substitutes
Konrad Laimer (46th for Goretzka): Took over on the left side of defence after his substitution, with Bischof moving into midfield in his place. Laimer played an assured game without any major attacking highlights. grade: 3
Nicolas Jackson (71st for Karl): Coolly scored after his substitution to make it 5:2 following an assist from Olise. That’s how a joker works!
Minjae Kim (77 for Upamecano): Came on too late to score
Hiroki Ito (83rd for Pavlovic): Came on too late to score, but was able to record the assist for the 6:2 through Olise on his comeback after a long injury break
Wisdom Mike (83rd for Kane): Came on too late to score
