Real Madrid recovered key defender Antonio Rudiger after more than a month injured and his return has already had a big impact on the team’s defensive performances.
Now, Los Blancos are waiting to welcome back another of their defensive stalwarts, Eder Militao, who has been out since December.
According to AS, Militao’s recovery is progressing well – so much so that he could be able to shorten his recovery deadlines, although not by a great margin.
His return may come towards the end of March rather than mid-April.

The 28-year-old Brazilian international has been out of action since early December due to a muscle injury, but there has been some important progress in his situation.
The day before yesterday, Militao began working with the ball again at Valdebebas, which increases optimism. However, the club are clear that he will not play until the risk of relapse is zero.
If things progress as they are going, the former FC Porto star could be back in action by the end of next month, in time for the final phase of the season.
With Dean Huijsen’s form going up and down, David Alaba not being a major part of the plans, and both Rudiger and Raul Asencio having been dealing with physical issues, Militao’s comeback will be a huge boost for the Spanish capital giants.
Prior to his injury, Militao had played 16 matches this season, impressing with solid performances, while also chipping in with a goal and an assist.
