Inter Academy Georgia, Brazil, and Toronto: the journey of the three Milano internships | OneFootball

A memorable experience filled with unforgettable moments, completely immersed in the world of Inter. The Milano internships for Inter Academy Georgia, Inter Academy Brazil and Inter Academy Toronto have come to an end, after giving participants the opportunity to spend time in close contact with the Nerazzurri world. Around 70 youngsters from the three Academies enjoyed a special week with the Club — the same week in which Inter secured the 21st Scudetto in the Club’s history.

On Saturday 2 May, the Academy players were at Milano’s Arena Civica to watch the derby between Inter Women and AC Milan Women. Before kick-off, the three Academies took part in several exclusive activities: some of the youngsters were selected to accompany the 22 players onto the pitch, while others first enjoyed a Meet & Greet with Vice President Javier Zanetti before forming a guard of honour and celebratory tunnel for the two teams. The group then watched the match together, enjoying the atmosphere of the derby and celebrating the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 win at the final whistle.

The standout day came on Sunday 3 May — the day Inter clinched the title. The Academy players enjoyed an unforgettable experience from the afternoon onwards inside a packed San Siro. Inter Academy Brazil took part in a stadium tour and dedicated walkabout, while Inter Academy Georgia and Inter Academy Toronto watched Chivu’s side warm up from pitchside before experiencing all the emotions of Inter vs Parma and the unforgettable joy of celebrating the Scudetto triumph. It was a historic moment for the entire Nerazzurri family, one the young Interistas will carry in their hearts forever.

Alongside the activities at the Arena Civica and San Siro, the youngsters also took part in intense training sessions at the KONAMI Football Centre, overseen by coaches from the Inter Academy network. The experience allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the Nerazzurri environment through demanding and engaging sessions on the pitch.

The internship programme also included a visit to Inter HQ, the beating heart of the Inter world, where the players enjoyed an exclusive Trophy Tour and learned more about the Club’s history and achievements. The experience concluded with a special meeting with Inter legend Francesco Toldo, who accompanied the youngsters during their visit to Inter HQ.
