Inter Academy Jeddah: a special event to mark its first year | OneFootball

As part of the build-up to the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia, Inter celebrated the first anniversary of Inter Academy Jeddah with a day of activities and special guests.

The event took place today, on the eve of the highly anticipated Supercoppa semi-final against Bologna in Riyadh, creating a day centred on sport, Nerazzurri values and engagement with the local community.

Around one year after its launch, the project was celebrated in the presence of Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti and former Inter Women captain Lisa Alborghetti, who arrived at the event in a vehicle provided by BYD, Inter’s Global Automotive Partner.

At the Academy training ground, around 200 children took part in the sporting activities, with more than 400 people involved overall, including families and accompanying guests, in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and participation. The pitch became the beating heart of the day, a place of connection and exchange where young participants were able to experience the Inter spirit up close, sharing core values such as respect, teamwork and a passion for football.

The event also welcomed influencers and leading figures from the local community, highlighting the strong interest and attention generated by the Inter Academy Jeddah project since its launch, and further strengthening the bond between the Club and the region.

With Inter Academy Jeddah, Inter continues its international development, bringing its methodology, expertise and Nerazzurri values into new cultural contexts. An important step that confirms the Club’s global outlook and its ability to activate and engage local fanbases.
