Evan Ndicka could be sacrificed on the altar of capital gains to comply with the settlement agreed with UEFA by June 30.

The Roma defender is a cornerstone of Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.

The 1999-born defender finished the season with 42 appearances, scoring 5 goals and receiving 7 yellow cards.

Excluding the matches missed due to his commitments at the Africa Cup of Nations, Ndicka was only available to Gasperini for two matches. These figures epitomize the consistency the Ivorian defender guarantees throughout a season.

Ndicka could end up in Inter’s sights.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the Nerazzurri are considering the Roma center-back, should Bastoni (valued around €70 million) leave, as Real Madrid is interested.

Marotta is already in talks with Udinese for Solet, but if the 1999-born player were to leave to join Mourinho’s squad, another defender would be needed to complete Chivu’s squad.

This is why Inter could be back in the thick of things with Ndicka, as two signings could be in the works. Further developments are pending.
