Gianluca Mancini is expected to renew his contract with Roma, which expires in June 2027.

The 1996-born defender spoke to Sky about his extension a few days ago: “Negotiations are ongoing, I’m waiting. There are insiders, my agent, myself, and the club: we’re talking and we’ll continue to do so. I’m waiting for answers and we’ll see what happens.”

The Giallorossi defender has an offer of just over €3 million until 2029, with an option for another year.

Gasperini has already spoken out on the matter, refusing to accept any transfer deals: for the Grugliasco-born coach, Mancini is a cornerstone of the defense from which to build next season. “He’s not leaving, I’ve already told him that, but he knows it. Inter can do whatever they want, but the player wants to stay.” There’s nothing more to add to Gasperini’s words.
