The 27-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a deal running until 2029, with an option for an additional season. He joins as a Designated Player, a status reserved for the team’s top talents. Born in Argentina, Berterame now joins an Inter Miami squad heavily influenced by Argentine players, led by Messi himself. The club is clearly signaling its ambitions for the rest of the season.

Berterame arrives in top form. He has netted 13 goals in 24 matches this season and also shone on the stage of the Club World Cup. Now a Mexican international, he’s become a serious contender for the World Cup.
