Inter Miami sign Brazilian forward Riquelme Fillipi

Inter Miami CF have acquired forward Riquelme Fillipi from Brazilian Série A side Palmeiras, the club announced Wednesday.

The 19-year-old Brazilian youth international is under contract through the 2029-30 season with an option for 2030-31. He will occupy U22 Initiative and international roster spots.

Fillipi has played 11 times for Palmeiras' senior team and scored 30 goals in 80 matches for their Under-20s.

He also represented Brazil at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where they reached the quarterfinals.

Fillipi is Inter Miami's third international signing this summer. The defending MLS Cup presented by Audi champions previously added Brazil national team midfielder Casemiro and rising Ecuadorian center back Fricio Caicedo.
