Inter Milan Attack Rounds Into Form With Goals From All Four Strikers

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is seeing his attack round into form, with all four strikers looking like a threat in front of goal.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

One thing that Inter coach Inzaghi won’t want to see is his team become overly reliant on one player for goals.

No matter how prolific a single player is, they can always go through a dry spell. Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez is a perfect example of that.

Moreover, there is a risk of losing key players due to injuries. And every player needs a rest here and there, in order to avoid serious fatigue and a drop-off.

Therefore, Inter coach Inzaghi wants at least two or three forwards capable of finding the back of the net from week to week.

And now, he seems to have just that.

Against Red Star Belgrade, Inter’s “second string” attack of Mehdi Taremi and Marko Arnautovic started.

Both of that pair put in accomplished displays leading the line.

And moreover, both scored their first goal of the season.

For Arnautovic, the Austrian showed that he is still more than capable of being in the right place at the right time. And that he can finish.

Meanwhile, Taremi scored from the penalty spot.

The Iranian international had previously assisted both Arnautovic and Inter captain Lautaro Martinez. And he got the chance to open his Inter account as a reward.

Now, Inzaghi will feel more free to rotate his team.

The Nerazzurri can use any combination of Martinez, Taremi, Arnautovic, and Marcus Thuram. Either from the start or from the bench.

And the way things are looking, the Inter attack should look in form no matter what.
