Inter Milan are in advanced talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal to sign England full-back Djed Spence for at least £25.6 million (€30m).

According to BBC Sport, the 26-year-old has emerged as a key target for the Serie A champions after enhancing his reputation at the 2026 World Cup, where he made eight appearances for England.

The Guardian has independently reported that negotiations are ongoing over a transfer worth approximately €30m (£25.6m), with Spence keen on a move to Inter. The Italian club are looking for a replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who has joined Real Madrid.

Spence made 23 Premier League starts for Tottenham last season as they narrowly avoided relegation and has established himself as a versatile option capable of playing on either flank.

He joined Spurs from Middlesbrough in July 2022 for a reported £20m and has since made 85 appearances for the club.

Tottenham have already begun exploring potential replacements as the prospect of Spence’s departure grows.

Spence’s future has become increasingly uncertain despite signing a new contract with Tottenham last season. He is reportedly keen to secure regular first-team football, while Spurs are willing to consider his departure if their valuation is met.
