Luis Henrique says that joining Inter Milan is an “important step” in his career.

The Brazilian gave his first interview as a Nerazzurri player after completing his transfer from Marseille. He also stated that he wants to win the Club World Cup this summer.

Inter Milan have completed the signing of winger Luis Henrique from Marseille.

The 23-year-old has arrived on a five-year deal.

Reportedly, the Nerazzurri have been in talks to sign Henrique since March.

Henrique is the player Inter have identified to back up Denzel Dumfries on the right flank.

The timing of the deal for Henrique is significant. Inter have gotten the deal done early, so that they can bring the Brazilian to the Club World Cup later this month.

Upon his arrival at Inter Milan, Luis Henrique commented that “first of all, I’m grateful to be here.”

“I’m very happy,” he said. “And motivated to play at a bit club like this.”

Henrique stated that joining Inter is “a big step forward in my career.”

“And I’m happy. I can’t wait to start playing, to get to know the whole team, and to enjoy my experience with them at this great club.”

Meanwhile, Henrique gave his thoughts on what he can bring to Inter. “Speed, technique, and dribbling,” said the Brazilian. “I think those are my best qualities.

Meanwhile, of moving to Serie A, Luis Henrique commented that “I’ve known this league very well since I was a kid.”

“I can’t wait to play here. I think this league and this club will help me grow.”

“There have been a lot of important players here at Inter who have been of Brazilian origin,” Henrique then noted. “And I also want to make history here, as they did.”

“It will be a great adventure for me. And I think I’ll be very happy,”

Then, Luis Henrique gave his thoughts on joining Inter at the Club World Cup this summer. “I hope that we can go as far as possible,” the 23-year-old said.

“And that we’re able to win this competition.”

“It will start soon, and it will be important. Those are my expectations.”
