Inter Milan will only listen to straight cash or loan-with-obligation offers from Roma for Davide Frattesi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri won’t consider loan-with-option bids this month.

The transfer saga between Frattesi and Roma looks set to drag on for another week at least.

The 25-year-old wants to leave Inter. He feels he needs more playing time, and hopes for a move to Roma.

And the Giallorossi want to sign Frattesi.

However, Inter have made very clear that the price tag for Frattesi will be steep. They want somewhere in the region of €45 million for the Italian international.

If Roma were to make an offer that approaches Inter’s valuation for Frattesi, then the Nerazzurri would accept it.

However, that is very unlikely to happen. The kind of fee that Inter want for the 25-year-old is hardly within reach for the Giallorossi.

Therefore, Roma will have to get creative with a formula.

But according to Tuttosport, Inter have no intention of accepting an offer of a paid loan with a purchase option.

The Nerazzurri would only consider loan bids if there is a mandatory purchase obligation next summer.
