Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu is set to take on his former coach Gian Piero Gasperini this weekend in a blockbuster Serie A clash.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Chivu’s men have started to show tactical traits reminiscent of Gasperini’s style in Rome.

Cristian Chivu replaced Simone Inzaghi at the helm in June, vowing to change Inter’s long-term approach on the field.

Despite refusing to alter Inzaghi’s trademark 3-5-2 formation, the 44-year-old has put his own stamp on Inter’s setup.
