Inter Milan are already planning potential summer moves, and Davide Frattesi’s future could play a central role in the club’s transfer strategy.
The midfielder attracted significant interest during the winter window, with clubs in Italy and abroad monitoring his situation.
Despite links to Galatasaray, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Nottingham Forest, Frattesi ultimately remained at San Siro.
However, discussions about the summer have already begun behind the scenes.

According to Corriere della Sera, Inter directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have explored the possibility of a swap deal with Atletico Madrid involving Frattesi and winger Nico Gonzalez, formerly of Juventus.
The idea did not progress in January but could be revisited ahead of the next transfer window.
Frattesi remains a valuable squad option thanks to his energy, forward runs and ability to contribute goals from midfield.
Yet Inter’s evolving tactical needs and the search for greater attacking width could prompt strategic adjustments.
A potential exchange would allow the Nerazzurri to rebalance the squad while adding a wide attacking profile suited to Cristian Chivu’s system.
For now, the idea remains exploratory, but it reflects Inter’s proactive planning as they look to refine the squad ahead of next season.
