Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta has reiterated the club’s intention to reclaim the Serie A title this season.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva via FCInterNews, Marotta admitted that he ‘hopes’ Inter could win the Scudetto in 2025/26.
The Nerazzurri lost one of the most intense title races in recent Serie A memory to Napoli last term.
As such, Simone Inzaghi left Stadio San Siro after his only trophyless season in charge of the club.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu, who jumped into his shoes in June, has enjoyed a decent return to Giuseppe Meazza.
Indeed, the 45-year-old has overseen nine wins in the opening 13 league rounds, guiding Inter to third in the table.
Furthermore, the 20-time Italian champions sit only a point adrift of early pacesetters AC Milan.
Therefore, a second Scudetto in three years is on the cards.
Meanwhile, Inter got back on track after back-to-back defeats with a 2-0 triumph at Pisa on Sunday afternoon.

“The fans are always at the center of everything,” Beppe Marotta said. “They’re the people who deserve our recognition.
“I hope it will be an exciting league season – that’s all I can say,” he added.
“I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful career, with many moments worth remembering,” Marotta admitted.
“I can start from the very beginning and go all the way to winning the Scudetto titles and reaching Champions League finals.
“Emotions aren’t conditioned by the stage you’re on at that moment.
“That’s because every final and every league title won generates not only adrenaline but passion, which drives our work.
“I’m lucky because I turned a passion into a job,” he continued. “It’s the greatest aspiration a person can have.”
Inter’s Scudetto pursuit will temporarily hit a pause button, with the Nerazzurri set to take on Venezia in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
