Inter Milan stars Alessandro Bastoni and Marcus Thuram are reportedly set to regain their starting spots in Tuesday’s clash against Arsenal.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Carlos Augusto and Francesco Pio Esposito will make way for the star duo’s return.
Cristian Chivu benched both players in Saturday’s hard-earned 1-0 away win over mid-table Serie A rivals Udinese.
Despite setting up Lautaro Martinez for the winning goal, Pio Esposito is unlikely to make his third consecutive start in all competitions.
Indeed, Chivu is more likely to put Thuram alongside El Toro in a potentially season-defining game against the Gunners.

Anything other than a victory would cast further doubt on Inter’s quest to secure automatic qualification for the Round of 16.
In turn, it would put an additional squeeze on Inter’s brutal fixture schedule amid an intense Serie A title race against AC Milan.
Therefore, there will be no margin for error when the Nerazzurri take on the Premier League pacesetters at San Siro.
Bastoni has been Inter’s defensive cornerstone for years, and, unsurprisingly, Chivu will expect him to lead by example.
Indeed, the Italian will dislodge Augusto on the left side of Inter’s back three and slot next to Manuel Akanji and Yann Bisseck.
