Inter nearing move for Roma’s Nicola Zalewski | OneFootball

Serie A champions Inter are making progress in a move for Roma’s Nicola Zalewski and are now nearing a move for the Poland international.

The versatile winger has been linked with a move to Inter throughout the window and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInter1908) have now reported that the white smoke could arrive soon.

The idea is that Roma will first confirm a contract renewal with Zalewski, who will then join Inter on a loan deal. Parties are working hard to close a deal and the Nerazzurri are trying to insert an option to buy in the move. They want to make sure that this is the same formula as what Villarreal have in the move for Tajon Buchanan.

Progress is being made and Zalewski would essentially replace the Canada international, who has not quite made a mark in his time at Inter. Zalewski was close to being sold by Roma in the summer but he rejected a move to Turkey.
