Inter tally Gre-Nal damages at R$ 120,000, visitors’ bench among items broken

Inter have estimated R$ 120,000 in damage at Beira-Rio after Sunday’s Gre-Nal. According to Globo.com, the amount will be sent to Grêmio.

The assessment followed the 4-2 win in Gre-Nal 449. It took place on Monday morning, with representatives of both clubs inspecting the away section.

The inspection report listed broken seats, barriers and segregation structures, plus damage to protective netting and to bathroom areas.

Inter also identified damage to the bench allocated to the visiting team.

Inter host Athletico at 19:00 on Wednesday at Beira-Rio, in their Brasileirão opener. Grêmio face Fluminense at the Maracanã at 19:30 the same evening. On Saturday in the Campeonato Gaúcho, Inter visit Caxias at the Centenário and Grêmio host Juventude at the Arena.
