Internacional beat Chapecoense 2-1 at Arena Condá, ending a 10-match winless run as Johan Carbonero's strike after the restart settled a relegation scrap in the Brasileirão.

Bruno Henrique put Inter ahead in the 25th minute, finishing from the centre after Carbonero's pass.

Maurício Garcez de Jesus levelled in the first minute of first half stoppage time, glancing in Marcinho's cross from a set piece.

Carbonero then won it (67.), drilling a low shot into the bottom right from the right side of the box.

Matheus Cunha saved smartly from Túlio and Gabriel Mercado marshalled the area as Inter absorbed pressure in the closing stages.

Chape had 63.2% possession and 13 attempts but only two on target. Inter produced four attempts and were clinical.
