Anthony Gordon and Dan Burn

Gordon and Burn have both been named in the England squad ahead of the Three Lions' fixtures against Wales and Latvia.

Thomas Tuchel's side take on Wales in a friendly at Wembley Stadium on Thursday, 9th October before facing an away clash against Latvia five days later in a 2026 World Cup qualifier at the Daugava Stadium in Riga. Both games take place at 7:45pm (BST).

Sandro Tonali

The central midfielder has been included in the Italy squad ahead of two 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Israel.

Gennaro Gattuso's men travel to Tallinn to face Estonia at the Lilleküla Stadium on Saturday, 11th October before hosting Israel at the Bluenergy Stadium, home of Serie A outfit Udinese, three days later. Both matches will begin at 7:45pm (BST).

Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley

The Magpies youngsters have both been selected in the England Under-21s squad ahead of two European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Moldova and Andorra.

Lee Carsley's side will face Moldova on Friday, 10th October at Stadionul Zimbru (kick-off 5pm BST) before returning to home soil for the first time since winning last summer's EUROs title when hosting Andorra at Pride Park, home of Derby County, on Monday, 13th October (kick-off 7:45pm BST).

Leo Shahar

The 18-year-old right-back has been named in the England Under-19s squad ahead of two games against Belgium and Wales.

The teenage defender, who made his full debut for his country at under-19 level last month, could be in action when England's youngsters face their Belgium counterparts at the Marbella Football Centre on Saturday, 11th October (kick-off 10am BST) before taking on Wales at La Quinta Football Centre on Tuesday, 14th October (kick-off 11am BST).

Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton

The midfield duo have both been included in the Brazil squad for their respective friendlies against South Korea and Japan.

It is a return to Seoul for the South American pair after the Magpies' pre-season tour to Asia last summer, with Carlo Ancelotti's side facing South Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Friday, 10th October (kick-off 12pm BST) before taking on Japan four days later at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo (kick-off 11:30am BST).

Nick Woltemade

The Bremen-born forward has been named in the Germany squad ahead of this month's World Cup qualifying double-header against Luembourg and Northern Ireland.

Woltemade, who has four senior caps to his name, could add to his appearance tally when the four-time World champions host Luxembourg at PreZero Stadium, home of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, on Friday, 10th October before travelling to Belfast three days later to face Northern Ireland at Windsor Park.

Both games will take place at 7:45pm (BST).

Anthony Elanga

The right winger, who has accrued 24 senior caps, has been named in the Sweden squad ahead of their respective World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Kosovo.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's side, currently five points adrift of Switzerland, host the Group B leaders at the Friends Arena on Friday, 10th October before facing Kosovo at Ullevi Stadium, venue of the EURO 1992 final, on Monday, 13th October, with both matches kicking off at 7:45pm (BST).

Alex Murphy

The Galway-born defender, who featured as a substitute in the Magpies' 4-1 Carabao Cup win against Bradford City last month, has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Slovakia.

Ireland's youngsters take on their Slovakian counterparts at Turners Cross in Cork on Friday, 10th October (kick-off 7:30pm BST), aiming to continue their 100 per cent winning start in Group B after victories against Moldova and Andorra.
