Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu looks set to join English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

Gazzetta reported this morning that the Romanian looks set for a season long loan move to England’s south coast, with a view to making the move permanent next summer.

Radu made 26 appearances last season during loan spells with Cremonese and then Auxerre and will perhaps be best known for his calamitous error against Bologna just over twelve months ago that all but ended Inter’s Scudetto hopes. His spells at Cremonese and Auxerre weren’t the most promising, which would suggest that a move to the Premier League is certainly a surprise.

He hasn’t played for the Nerazzuri since and has played just four times for the club overall during his six year spell as part of their first team. He has previously had a loan stint at Genoa, where his stock had risen after he had done well for the club acrosstwo seasons.
