Besiktas have been told the cost of a potential deal to sign Jaden Philogene this January
Turkish side Besiktas have been left stunned by a €30 (£26) million asking price for Ipswich Town forward Jaden Philogene.
According to Fotospor, the Super Lig side have been contacted through agents regarding a potential deal for the winger.
Former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was interested in a deal for the Championship player in the summer, but he has since been sacked by Besiktas.
However, the club could still return in the final days of the winter market with interest in the 23-year-old.
Philogene has contributed nine goals and two assists so far for Ipswich this season, with the club chasing promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Besiktas were reportedly contacted by agents regarding a deal to sign Philogene following their interest in the player in the summer.
However, the Turkish side have been put off by a £26 million asking price, and will not be pursuing a deal unless that figure is lowered.
Ipswich will be looking to hold onto the player as part of their bid to earn a place back in the top flight after being relegated in 2025.
Philogene has a contract with the Tractor Boys until the summer of 2029, giving the club a strong negotiating position.
The Suffolk outfit paid a fee in the region of £20 million to sign the forward in the 2025 January transfer window.
Philogene has been a key figure for Kieran McKenna’s side so far this season, with only Jack Clarke scoring more goals with a tally of 11.
Ipswich are currently third in the Championship table, five points adrift of second place Middlesbrough, and eight behind leaders Coventry City, but with a game in hand.
Next up for the Tractor Boys is a home clash against Preston North End on 31 January in a 3pm kick-off.

Philogene has been a key contributor in attack this season, and his goals will be crucial in the run-in during this promotion battle.
A £26 million fee should be the minimum asking price at this stage, as the financial benefit of earning a Premier League place is so big.
Given it cost around £20 million to sign him 12 months ago, this deal also wouldn’t represent a massive profit on the player either.
The positive is that Besiktas have been put off by the £26 million fee for now, but other clubs could catch wind of this in the final days of the winter market.
