“I’m very happy about the team going and with my first goal for Valencia CF. So many things are going through my head now. I’ve been a Valencia CF fan since I was born, and today is a dream come true. I’m thinking of my girlfriend, my family, my friends… I’m not used to scoring many goals, so this one’s for them.”

“We knew it was a tough stadium to come to and difficult opponents, but the team were very focused, kept a clean sheet and qualified for the quarterfinals, which was the primary objective. We know that anything can happen in a single match and we have to treat them all like finals to advance to the next round, and we achieved that.”
