Promoted Ligue 1 side Troyes are set to sign midfielder Iron Gomis on a two-year deal, with confirmation expected in the coming hours, according to L'Équipe.
The 26-year-old had been courted and was close to joining Guingamp in Ligue 2. He has been a free agent since 30 June following his departure from Zira in Azerbaijan’s top flight.

Marseille-born Gomis has made 99 Ligue 2 appearances across spells with Amiens and Dunkerque.
He also featured five times in Serie A with Salernitana.
In midfield he is viewed as a box-to-box option.
