Isaác Brizuela insists he is happy to play wherever he is needed for Chivas.
While best known for his work on the right wing, Brizuela welcomes the opportunity to fill in other positions when required.
“Wherever the coach requires me, I will be available,” the 30-year-old told the official Chivas website.
“I know it depends on the situation of the game. The ‘teacher’ [Víctor Manuel] Vucetich knows how to read those moments of the game very well, in my case between being inside or as a winger.
“That is why I have to try to give my best version in the position in which I play.
“I think it is an advantage to be able to perform in different areas of the field. It is something that helps me grow as a footballer and person.”
The Flock are currently at a pre-season training camp in coastal Barra de Navidad, where established players and youngsters from Tapatío are mixing together.
Brizuela has made 241 appearances for Los Rojiblancos since joining from Toluca in 2015, scoring 21 goals and providing 29 assists (via Transfermarkt).
