Brentford boss Keith Andrews has been left rueing missed chances against Chelsea in a game he feels they mostly controlled.
I think many Chelsea fans will also agree with those comments as well, because really, The Blues got very lucky in the end and a 2-0 score line ended up being very flattering for Liam Rosenior and his players and was not a true reflection of how the game went.
In the end, Rosenior, his players, and Chelsea fans will and should all just be saying the same – that a win is a win and they got an important three points and also came away with a clean sheet, although we are not sure how! But these are the games you just take it and run!
Chelsea also missed chances, and winger Alejandro Garnacho was rated quite low after the game due to his share of missed chances.
Cole Palmer’s recent form has also been a little off and that continued for the game yesterday. But Rosenior has jumped to the defence of the attacking midfielder, who has mostly been superb for Chelsea since he arrived from Manchester City.

As picked up on X, Andrews said after the game:
Keith Andrews:
“Sometimes the game isn’t fair. Ultimately, you’ve got to take the chances.
“Coming to Stamford Bridge – a midfield that’s worth £200m – and controlling large parts of it.”
The Blues will know that they need to step it up going forward because they might not get as lucky as they did yesterday going into their next games.
At the end of the day though, you do need luck sometimes, and you take that good fortune when it comes and just be happy that we won the game.
