Valencia manager Carlos Corberan ‘isn’t keen’ on signing Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani, as he prefers a different type of winger, but club CEO Ron Gourlay is chasing the wide-man.

Ramazani has returned to Leeds following the end of his loan spell at Valencia, but his future at Elland Road remains uncertain.

The 25-year-old fell down Daniel Farke’s pecking order before joining Valencia on loan in the summer of 2025, with the move aimed at giving him more regular first-team football.

Ever since the Belgian returned to Elland Road following his loan spell, Valencia have been trying to find a solution to bring him back for this season, with the 25-year-old also wanting to return to Spain to join Los Che.

The winger ‘has called several Valencia players in recent days’, further highlighting his determination to reunite with the La Liga club this summer.

However, the entire transfer saga has been far from simple for Valencia, as Leeds remain unwilling to entertain the loan structure with an option to buy sought by the Spanish outfit.

Further complicating the move, Valencia now face competition from several clubs interested in the winger.

There is also another Ramazani factor as, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Los Che manager Corberan ‘isn’t keen on him’, but the club CEO Gourlay is still chasing the winger.

It has been suggested that the manager prefers a different type of player after being unhappy with the Belgian’s performances towards the end of last season.

Valencia have been considering alternative options, but if those moves do not materialise, they will turn to Ramazani, a player they already know well.

Meanwhile, Leeds are holding firm at their €8m asking price for the Belgian, and are showing no inclination to dilute their demands.

The 25-year-old has been clear about his desire to return to Mestalla, and the winger is pushing hard in England to make the move happen.

It remains to be seen where Ramazani will play next season.
