Nicolas Jackson's future at Bayern Munich appears to be tilting decisively towards a return to Stamford Bridge. The Senegalese striker's loan spell in Germany is likely to be cut short due to a combination of unmet benchmarks and impending international commitments.

Although the Bavarian giants secured a €65 million option to make the move permanent, that clause is contingent on him featuring in 40 matches across the Bundesliga and Champions League. With his current tally standing at a mere six appearances, fulfilling that condition is becoming increasingly improbable.

A further complication is the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which will see Jackson depart for international duty, significantly reducing his available playing time. Consequently, all signs point to the forward reuniting with Chelsea for the forthcoming season.

This news follows a recent report involving another Chelsea attacker, Mykhailo Mudryk. The 24-year-old Ukrainian winger made headlines by voluntarily submitting to a polygraph test to definitively assert that he has never knowingly used any performance-enhancing substances throughout his career.
