It has been confirmed that Italy will face Germany in the UEFA Nations League quarter-final during the next international break, following the completion of the knock-out draw on Friday.
The Azzurri, who finished second behind France in their ‘A’ League group, were one of the unseeded teams in the group, which means their potential opponents were either one of Spain, Germany or Portugal.
Italy joined the Netherlands, Croatia and Denmark in unseeded teams pot.

Italy vs Germany
The UEFA Nations League quarter-finals are scheduled to take place during the next international break, in March 2025.
Specifically, the two-legged quarter-finals will take place on Thursday March 20 and Sunday March 23, 2025.
The victorious quarter-finalists will progress to a ‘mini-tournament’ at the end of the 2024-25 season.
The single-legged semi-finals are due to take place on June 4 and June 5, with the final set for Sunday June 8, 2025.
The host nation for the final tournament is yet to be confirmed.
