Iton delivers victory for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

GROS ISLET, St. Lucia – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines earning a 1-nil win over Saint Lucia in Group A on Saturday at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

Karesha Iton scored the lone goal of the match in the 14’ when she sailed a long free kick over the top that caught the goalkeeper off guard and bounced right into the net.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines concluded its participation in the tournament with consecutive wins, ending with a 2-0-2 record and third-place finish in the group. Saint Lucia ended its campaign winless in four matches in fifth place of Group A.
