FC Barcelona continued their winning run last night with another La Liga victory over Mallorca. Although Hansi Flick was not completely satisfied with the team’s performance, the match will still remain memorable for Tommy Marques

The young Barcelona midfielder made his first-team debut in last night’s game. The 19-year-old came on in the 84th minute, after Marc Bernal had already scored the team’s third goal.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the debutant also spoke to the media after the game and expressed his delight at having made his first-team debut. Reflecting on the achievement, the youngster said:

Tommy also expressed how he felt when he was about to step on the pitch:

“It’s hard to come on because the score has to be comfortable. When the third goal went in, Flick called me over, and I didn’t even have time to think. My day had arrived.”
