Monza have appointed 50-year-old Croat Ivan Juric as their new head coach. The club said in a statement that he will take charge from 1 July 2026 and has signed until 2028.

The Lombardy side return to Serie A one year after leaving the top flight, having won the promotion play-off against Catanzaro in May. They won 2-0 in the first leg and lost 0-2 in the second, advancing on league position.

Juric succeeds Paolo Bianco, who was not retained after securing promotion.

At Roma, Juric lasted less than two months, from September to November 2024.

He then took charge of Atalanta in summer 2025, succeeding his mentor Gian Piero Gasperini, before being dismissed in November that year.
