Jacen Russell-Rowe ‘to sign’ for Toulouse | OneFootball

Toulouse are set to sign Canada forward Jacen Russell-Rowe before the transfer window closes. The 23-year-old has played for Columbus Crew in MLS since 2022.

The Athletic reported that Russell-Rowe, a Toronto academy graduate and an MLS champion with Columbus in 2023 under French coach Wilfried Nancy, is the target.

After bringing in Brazilian Emersonn last summer, Toulouse are adding another striker this winter. Out of contract at the end of the season, the seven-cap international wants to test himself in Europe with the World Cup next summer in mind.

He scored seven league goals in 2025 and found the net in an unofficial mid-January friendly against Guatemala, a 1-0 win. He caught Toulouse’s eye even though, during the off-season, team-mate Maximilian Arfsten had initially drawn interest.

Russell-Rowe is viewed as a longer-term bet alongside Argentines Santiago Hidalgo, 20, and Julian Vignolo, 19. The early addition also anticipates the likely end-of-season departure of Frank Magri.
