Across a season that will already go down in Newcastle lore, Eddie Howe's Magpies continue their push for Champions League football next season with an evening out at Leicester City.
And, thus far, Tyneside's invasion of the KP Stadium is building toward a rout after an early brace from Jacob Murphy.
Murphy tapped home from close range in just the third minute, only to complete his brace eight minutes later after an audacious long-range chip from Fabian Schär rattled off the bar while leaving Leicester shot-stopper Mads Hermansen dead in the water.
With that, Murphy netted his sixth and seventh Premier League goals of the season, a personal best for the Wembley-born winger.
But while Magpies fans sing his praises, Murphy's unsung hero season continues as he now not only leads Newcastle's league assist charts (9) but now sits in sole possession of second position among the goals (7), bested only by Alexander Isak.
Impressively, only ten other players have registered 10+ goals and 15+ since the start of the last Premier League season, with Murphy coming in as the only one to achieve that return in 50 matches or fewer.
He may not be a big name, but his impact has been undeniable.
