Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has not had the ideal loan move up to this point.
Despite scoring five goals and providing 10 assists, the Blues rejected their chance to sign the England international permanently.
Instead they paid a £5 million compensation to United and Sancho was left to find another club.
He signed for Aston Villa on loan on deadline day of the summer market but he has found game time very hard to come by under Unai Emery.
The Villans are having an incredible season and recently beat United 1-2 at Villa Park.
Nonetheless, Sancho has largely been irrelevant to Villa’s success as he has spent most of his season on the bench.
He has only played a total of 529 minutes all season with the majority of this time being in a rotated side for the Europa League.
As a result, there has been speculation that the winger wants to leave Villa in search of game time as his United deal expires this coming summer and he will want his pick of clubs to leave for in free agency.
There have been links to a return to Germany, especially his former club Borussia Dortmund.
In the summer there were numerous Turkish clubs who showed an interest in signing the 25-year-old and according to local press, Besiktas are still in the race for the winger.
Fotomac claim that the Black and Whites want to sign numerous players this winter and “their primary target is Jadon Sancho , whose transfer was also discussed at the beginning of the season.”
It is believed that, “Sancho wants to leave the team during the winter transfer window and play for a club where he can get regular playing time.”
Were the Turkish side willing to offer any sort of transfer fee, United would likely snap their hand off as any sort of compensation for the £73 million signing in 2021.
