Jakub Kaminski arrives in Lisbon to finalise Benfica move | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Jakub Kaminski has arrived in Lisbon to finalise a move to Benfica, landing at Tires Airport on Monday afternoon.

The Poland international expressed his delight on arrival, saying he was happy to be there, ready to show his qualities and hoping everything would go well that day. He also described Benfica as a great club.

Benfica have agreed a 20 million euro fee with Colónia for Kaminski, and the winger will sign a contract for the next five seasons, making it one of the main investments of the Rui Costa-led SAD in this summer window.

He attracted interest from Brighton and RB Leipzig, but prioritised Benfica’s project and chose to continue his career at Estádio da Luz.

After routine medical tests and the formal signing, Kaminski will immediately link up with Marco Silva’s squad.

If integration goes as planned, he could make an unofficial debut on Saturday against Flamengo, the first open pre-season fixture staged in front of Benfica supporters.
