Jamal Musiala will not be in Bayern Munich’s squad for Friday’s Bundesliga opener at home to Stuttgart, and could return on 5 September away to Schalke 04, according to Bild.
The Germany international, capped 46 times, raised concerns in pre-season when he sat out a game against Leipzig before suffering an episode against Heidenheim.

The 23-year-old said on social media that the spells were brief, he was being treated well and they were only temporary.
He also referred to a neurological dysfunction and said there was no risk to his health.
Head coach Vincent Kompany has suggested the sudden reactions could be linked to a change in his treatment.
