The 22-year-old kept his nerve and scored his penalty kick against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night as the 2. Bundesliga club knocked out Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal.
Serra joined Holstein Kiel from Borussia Dortmund II in 2018 for €300,000 and has scored 24 goals in 71 competitive games for the second division club – the German has also assisted ten. This season, Serra has scored five and created two in 17 games in all competitions for Die Störche.
Standing at 193cm, Serra has also played 16 times for the Germany U21 national team between 2017 and 2019, scoring two goals. Operating as a target man, Serra is expected to replace Arminia legend Fabian Klos (33) in attack, who has a contract until the summer and is yet to sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga club.
