Jaqueline struck twice as Corinthians beat Mirassol 4-1 at Estádio Manoel Ferreira in Bálsamo, in the sixth round of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino. The brace takes her to 11 goals in 2026, level with Gabi Zanotti at the top of the club charts.
One of Corinthians’ goals came via an own goal. According to Meu Timao, in their current position they would face Santos in a two-legged play-in for a semi-final place.
Jhonson sits third on seven goals from 22 appearances. Ariel Godoi has six, with Vic Albuquerque on five. Andressa Alves and Duda Sampaio have four apiece.
Erika, who netted the fourth against Mirassol, shares eighth place with Gisela Robledo and Belén Aquino on three. Carol Nogueira, Thaís Ferreira and Letícia Monteiro are on two. Paola Garcia, Ana Vitória, Rhaizza and Ivana Fuso have one each.
Corinthians are third in the overall table with 10 points, three behind Palmeiras and Ferroviária, the leaders and runners-up. The recent draw between Ferroviária and Bragantino means Timão could still finish second or even top at the end of the first phase, which would bring direct passage to the semi-finals.
On 26 August, Corinthians face bottom side Taubaté. Palmeiras meet fifth-placed Red Bull Bragantino, and Ferroviária face fourth-placed São Paulo, who still have Santos to play in round six. If the Brabas win and either rival stumbles, Corinthians can advance straight to the semi-finals on tiebreak criteria.
