Jason Tindall has stepped in to take the media duties for this Manchester United match.

Keith Downie of Sky Sports and other journalists having reported that Eddie Howe has been forced to leave things to his assistant, due to illness.

Here’s hoping he will be ok to be there at St James’ Park in the dugout on Sunday.

So the Newcastle United media duties on Friday will see Jason Tindall delivering the various updates and be quizzed by journalists this morning.

No doubt the journalists will be looking forward to this temporary change, able to quiz Eddie’s sidekick.
