Jean-Philippe Mateta is pushing to leave Crystal Palace this month according to reports.

After an incredible 2025 it's been a difficult time for Eagles fans in recent weeks with poor results, a departing manager, and the club's captain having signed for Manchester City.

Things could get worse though with Mateta also wanting to leave Selhurst Park according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Frenchman, who has a contract until the end of next season, has apparently told his club that he wants to move this month.

The 28-year-old will have no shortage of suitors with Aston Villa and Juventus among the clubs said to be interested.

Mateta initially had a slow start in England, scoring just 10 goals in his first 67 games. However he has found his feet in the last two seasons bagging 46 goals in his last 118 matches.
