Andrée Jeglertz has once again been shortlisted for the Barclays Women's Super League Manager of the Month award.
Our Head Coach won October’s award after City maintained a 100% record across the month, and is once again nominated for November’s prize after repeating the trick.
The Blues beat West Ham United, Everton and Manchester United across the month to open up a three point gap at the WSL summit on reigning champions Chelsea.
We’ve now won our last eight in a row in the WSL and boast the league’s best attacking record with 23 goals in nine matches.
City were equally impressive at the other end in November, though, keeping clean sheets in two of our three games across the month.
We began with a 1-0 win over West Ham United, before another gutsy display at Everton, coming away with a 2-1 triumph at Goodison Park.
But the crowning moment of November came at the Etihad Stadium, with City delivering a rampant 3-0 victory over United in the Manchester derby.
Our rivals had conceded just four goals in the WSL all season before the game, and failed to register a single shot on target as goals from Rebecca Knaak, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Lauren Hemp sealed a memorable win.
Andrée is up against London City Lionesses boss Jocelyn Precheur for November’s award.
