Jensen nominated for Premier League Goal of the Month

Brentford’s Mathias Jensen has been nominated for April’s Premier League Goal of the Month award.

The midfielder scored from distance in the Bees’ 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Reiss Nelson teed up Jensen on the edge of the box and the midfielder shifted the ball past Benjamin Šeško before bending brilliantly into the bottom corner.

Jensen has been nominated alongside Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool), James Justin (Leeds United), Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton and Hove Albion), Xavi Simons (Tottenham Hotspur), Rayan Cherki (Manchester City), Andy Robertson (Liverpool) and Eberechi Eze (Arsenal).
