Jeremy Monga, 17, has chosen Manchester City over Arsenal after leaving Leicester City this summer.

He made his first City appearance as a substitute in Wednesday's 3-1 win over a K-League XI in Seoul, South Korea. Rayan Ait-Nouri put Enzo Maresca's side ahead, Kim Dae-won levelled, then Tijjani Reijnders and Divin Mubama scored at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. "(Arsenal's interest) was very strong because it was very close to me going there, very close," he said, speaking to BBC Sport.

"The main decision was probably the pathway and the club itself. They've been so successful that it was a no-brainer when City call. It's every child's dream to win trophies and be at the top with the best."

"Once I get the opportunity I just need to show myself and once I do that, everything will take care of itself. I feel like, to me personally, I see myself at City more. I see myself in blue."

The transfer was worth a reported £10m plus £2.5m in add-ons, and the winger has signed until 2031. He is the third-youngest player to make a Premier League appearance.
