Jéssica Silva has been officially unveiled by Galatasaray, the 31-year-old Portugal international forward beginning a new chapter after a season with Al Hilal.

The Istanbul club had teased the move on social media on Sunday, hours after she announced her exit from the Saudi side, posting a player silhouette with a caption suggesting the image said little but talent said everything.

Supporters swiftly linked the hint to Silva. She arrives in Türkiye off a standout campaign for Al Hilal, scoring 14 goals and supplying three assists in 23 appearances.

Türkiye will be the sixth country of her career, following spells in Sweden, Spain, France and the United States before Saudi Arabia, highlighted by a Champions League triumph with Lyon.

A former Benfica forward, she scored 37 goals for the Lisbon club. Galatasaray are among the most ambitious sides in Turkish women’s football, finishing third in 2025/26, four points behind Trabzonspor and 18 adrift of champions Fenerbahçe. They were national champions in 2023/24.
