Jeyland Mitchell joins Strasbourg on five-year deal

L'Équipe reports that Strasbourg have signed Jeyland Mitchell from Sturm Graz on a five-year contract for around eight million euros.

Talks between the clubs were under way last Thursday.

The 21-year-old is a Costa Rica international.

He strengthens the back line, which could also be supplemented by Werder Bremen's Karim Coulibaly, a 19-year-old German defender.

Ismaël Doukouré has been given permission to leave.
