Jhon Arias called up by Colombia for September friendlies

The Colombian federation announced the squad for September friendlies, with Palmeiras’ Jhon Arias included.

Colombia will face Mexico on 26 September, then Paraguay on 2 October and Peru on 6 October.

These are the first friendlies since the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and Arias scored at the tournament.

For Palmeiras, the No 11 has 39 appearances and eight goals.

He started as Palmeiras secured progression against LDU in Quito on Wednesday 16.
