Joao Pedro extends Chelsea contract until 2034 | OneFootball

Joao Pedro has extended his Chelsea contract until 2034, tying the 24-year-old forward to the club on a long-term deal.

The club said in a statement that the Brazil international has agreed new terms to 2034. He joined the Blues in July 2025.

He made an immediate impact, scoring in the Club World Cup semi-final win against Fluminense, 2-0, and in the 3-0 final against PSG, as Chelsea were crowned world champions.

On the European stage he hit a superb brace in a Champions League victory over Napoli. He finished the season with 20 goals in 50 official appearances, and was voted Player of the Season by an overwhelming majority.

Pedro took the number nine shirt and has eight senior caps for Brazil. He previously played in England for Watford and Brighton.
