John Eustace has issued an update on the potential futures of Derby County's loan players heading towards the summer transfer window.
Derby County remain within touching distance of the Championship play-offs, with Rams supporters hoping that other teams can do them a favour between now and the end of this year's league campaign.
Jaydon Banel's stunning strike against relegation-threatened Oxford United gave the Rams the all-important three points on Saturday, which keeps John Eustace's side in contention with the play-off positions.
Time is running out for Derby to force themselves into the top-six though, with only three games remaining in their 2025/26 league campaign.
Derby haven't played in England's top-flight since the 2007/08 season, which proved to be a forgetful one, as they were relegated with a record-low points total.
It's set to be an interesting summer ahead at Derby though, and there will be questions raised as to whether they can keep hold of the club's loan players, with the majority catching the eye for all the right reasons.
The likes of Ben Brereton Diaz, David Ozoh, Sammie Szmodics, Bobby Clark, and Jaydon Banel are some of the players that have impressed since signing on loan with John Eustace's side, and he'll be hoping that they can potentially make their stay a permanent one, regardless of which division Derby are playing their football in next season.

Eustace has revealed his stance on some of the club's loanees this season, after speaking to Derbyshire Live following their win over Oxford United.
"Obviously I've spoken to all the players. They love playing for Derby, they love being here. From that point of view, I think they'd all love to stay but everything else is out of my hands."
Eustace's recent comments will certainly be promising to hear, and will no doubt excite the Derby County fanbase, because with the loanees, the Rams are a real force in the second tier.

There's always an element of risk with loan players, as they sometimes aren't the correct fit for a club's style, but it's certainly not the case with Derby County this year.
Bobby Clark was previously on the books with Liverpool as a youngster, but moved to Austrian giants, Red Bull Salzburg, before being loaned out to Derby this season. He's been one of the standout players for the Rams this term, and was a regular in the starting XI before picking up a hamstring injury.
Ben Brereton Diaz is experienced in the Championship, having originally caught the eye for all the right reasons with Blackburn Rovers earlier in his career, and the winger is in for an interesting month ahead, as Derby are hunting down his parent club, Southampton in the battle for a top-six finish.
Sammie Szmodics is another player on loan from what has turned out to be a promotion rival, as he's contracted to Ipswich Town, but on loan with the Rams. The Irish international has found the back of the net on three occasions, and will be eager to recapture his best form in front of goal between now and the end of the season.
David Ozoh has been a key member of John Eustace's squad, having made 30 league appearances this season, and the central midfielder, who is on loan from Crystal Palace, has seemingly made a good impression in his time with the club to date.
It remains to be seen as to what the plans are for each individual player, but it'll be pleasing to hear that they're all enjoying their football with Derby, and John Eustace will be hoping that
