Just one point in two games is currently the least of his worries, with Norwich's attack in line to be decimated before the window closes on August 30th.

With that in mind, at Football League World we have detailed three players who face an uncertain end to this transfer window for Norwich City.

Jon Rowe

First on the list is Jon Rowe, who has been subject to a great deal of transfer speculation this month.

Crysencio Summerville's departure from Leeds United earlier in the window, saw the Whites turn their attention to Rowe.

Since then, we have seen Rennes and Marseille join the party, with the latter having two of their first three bids rejected by the Canaries. However, the third time may have proved a charm for

Les Phoceens, with their loan-to-buy obligation of £13.5 million, closer to the mark.

Whether this bid has been accepted remains to be seen, but John Percy of the Telegraph reports that there is now an expectation that the deal will be completed before August 30th.

For Rowe, this situation is ideal. The young winger is currently training with Norwich's U21 squad, having not appeared in the first games of the season for the senior team.

Norwich are believed to be keen on keeping Rowe, but his actions could force their hand before August 30th. One thing for sure, is that the departure of Rowe would be a devastating loss for Hoff Thorup.

Abu Kamara

Another player who is desperate to leave Carrow Road is Abu Kamara.

The youngster spent last season on loan at Portsmouth and starred with eight goals and 10 assists as he helped Pompey secure their place in the Championship for this season.

Upon his return to his parent club, it was expected that he would play a firm role in the side. Unfortunately, Hoff Thorup has only given him 15 minutes of league action across two games and this has clearly frustrated Kamara, prompting him to hand in a transfer request.

This situation will compel Norwich to make a decision, as Kamara is currently attracting interest from both his former club, Portsmouth, and Hull City.

Celtic were also previously credited with interest, and Kamara's decision would have piqued the notice of their scouts.

At this point, Norwich must be questioning their luck, as two of their brightest talents are eager to leave. The club’s stance will likely remain one of no sale, but if a compelling offer comes in, it could be difficult to resist.

Daniel Barden

Daniel Barden has endured an extremely difficult career, with off-field issues plaguing his time at Norwich so far. In 2021, whilst on loan at Livingston, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and

he spent seven months away from football before fully recovering and returning to join Maidstone United on loan for the 2022/23 season.

Unfortunately, a serious knee injury whilst on loan with the Stones meant that he was ruled out until January of this year. But, Norwich have kept faith in the 23-year-old and rewarded his determination with a brand new two-year contract.

The Pink Un has reported that the plan is for him to spend time out on loan again this term, but with just under a week left of the window, they will have to be swift about this.

Currently, it seems that Angus Gunn, George Long and Archie Mair are all ahead of him in the pecking order, so a move away is crucial for him to develop.
